I have worked with students on their own research projects and interests, acting as a guide as they take their first research steps.
I have taught a variety of summer courses and courses through Pre-College programs outside of a normal academic year.
I have edited test banks, textbooks, and notes for other classes at various points in my career.
I have worked with private sector businesses and local governments through outreach research projects.
I provide coding feedback for private enterprise as well as other student and colleague research projects.
I have worked as part of departmental initiatives aimed at redesign and standardization.
Overall, I really love this course. Dr. Blake shares deep insight with us. Although the course is difficult, it makes sense, since the course content is very concrete.
Dr. Blake is by far the best economics teacher that I have had. Perhaps there is no teacher that is more accessible and better at explaining material than Dr. Blake is...Bright mind with an even brighter future in teaching/research.
I have not fallen asleep once in this class, and I usually sleep through at least 1 class per day.
I really appreciated your effort in trying to get us to interact with you even when we rarely responded. In all honesty, more professors should, as you have, attempt to get us to explain what we have learned rather than just learning to upchuck it on our tests. Thank you!
